Would the Foundation have been in the business of selling plans drawn by others than Mr Wright---say, for instance, a John Rattenbury design---prior to that date ?

I guess it could be a (severely) bastardized version of something that one of the TAA architects has designed, way back when.

Armand Carroll (1898-1976) was not a Wright apprentice, but he did graduate from Penn, practiced in the Philadelphia area, designed Art Deco and Moderne styled movie theaters in the late 1920's through the 1930's, and designed some great MidMod houses in the 1950's and '60's, including the above linked gem that is often mistakenly noted as the other Frank Lloyd Wright house in South Jersey....it is 4 miles south of our house. The exterior siding and trim are actually a light warm grey.

Gutman looks intriguing. I would like to see interiors.

The houzz house is excellent, especially the way the fountain doubles as a decorative downspout, and the ceiling extending from the dining room into the living room cantilever.

This is one that can legitimately called Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired. Nicely done! This was the architect's second commission.

True, not FLLW. However, it is an FLLW apprentice deigned house: It is the Clarke residence designed by Robert Carroll May in 1947. It is a few miles from where I live and has altered and abandoned for years. A neighboring May house was taken down some years ago and unfortunately this will likely be this home's fate as well.
