Cliif May and the Prices must have been fans of Wurster's Gregory Farmhouse.

I'd be amazed if the Prices had any awareness of Cliff May. Did they have any West Coast dealings or connections ?

May didn't build anything in Oklahoma, but he did build some houses in Texas and Arizona. Price would obviously travel to oil field sites to do his work, so Texas must have been a likely stomping ground. Also, May was published during his lifetime. It wouldn't be at all surprising for the Prices to know about May, whether the travelled to California or not.
