The house for Ray Kropp was designed in 1952 to be built at Chardon Farms, Grayslake, IL. It is included in the book by Allen Weintraub, pp 178 to 185. It is a very large residence that has appeared herein a couple of times in the past. Chardon Farms is a rural address. Google Maps of Grayslake shows a small lake with an island in the middle. On the east shore of the lake is the house in question, on a large lot with outbuildings. It is not visible from West Chardon Road.

Alan Weintraub's photos of Kropp (1952); Lloyd's watercolor rendering first.
