Jeff thinks for posting those screen shots, they are wonderful! That conference table is wonderful makes you wonder what happen to it?

Have you ever seen a drawing of the commissary?

I recently purchased this sign from the Wright auction of Price Tower items. Im working with Price Tower to determine its original location. Have you even seen anything like it on a drawing?

Thank you for those additional images! That ash tray is really unusual.

The thought so far is that the letters came from Harold Price Jrs parking space at the Tower.

Is the Avery archive available for viewing online?

You have to send them an email. Plans are free at low res to make building difficult.

The Price ashtray design reminds me of this object, seen in published photos of the Storer living room during Joel Silver's ownership; I covet this little container without knowing anything about it.

The 8" polished letters, H and P, are intriguing. Note that, in the building lettering shown in a drawing posted in detail by Jeff, the cross-bars of letters like A, E, H are well below center; the H obtained
at auction has a raised cross-bar. The letter presumably can't be shown upside down, as that would mean that the crenellation running up the vertical stroke would switch sides, from left to right...

I'm not suggesting there's anything wrong with it; it's just interesting. It will be great to find out where the letters might have been located, in the building. Along with a C, they would be the client's initials ?

That is an interesting container!

Very true it doesn't match the letters in the drawings Jeff posted. It's even possible that those letters where never produced.

Price Tower has a pair of matching letters so I wouldn't think there was a letter missing but its possible.

Price Tower showed a photo Carlolyn's and Harold Price's daughter who remembers the letters. She is speaking with her siblings to see where they where placed in the building. They are also searching for a photo.

It's possible that they where added at a latter time by Taliesin during one of the renovations.

They have a set of letters that match the set sold at auction. ItÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s possible they have other letters from other signage but IÃ¢â‚¬â„¢m not sure.

So, they have an H and a P just like yours ? Were any other letters offered for sale, or just the ones you got ?

Its my understanding that they have an H & P just like mine but I have not seen them.

I purchased the only letters that were offered for sale. You can go on to Wrights website and search Price Tower and see the other items offered in the sale.

In this way we some of us could decide as a group what we
would like to see and then petition Avery for some screen shots.

(this procedure seems so cumbersome, why wouldn't they
make what they've already got digitized available online?)

Could they be floor office markers for Harold Price by Blue Stem Foundry in Dewey Oklahoma (5 miles North of Bartlesville) Calvin Mason and Cecil Magana did most of the precise greensand casting work for the towers signage and company logo floor insets.
