SDR,
Joel bought some things from Scott Elliott's store, Kelmscott Gallery, in Chicago. It handles a lot of FLW-related stuff. There might be a hint about that curious item you covet.
The raised cross bar may relate to the lower end of the capital P loop. If the H had been designed as usual, with the cross bar at the lower end, that would have weighted the whole composition.

Jeff that's it!
I can't think you enough for your help! I would never have figured that out without you. The dimensions seem to match up to.
I have an issue of Arizona Highway February 1956 which shows the house and you can clearly see the letters on the entrance gate. If I could figure out how to upload a photo I would.

Pertaining to Price Tower memorabilia, I found this on eBay.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Frank-Lloyd-Wr ... SwOCdcp6Cc
Real or phony?
The seller seems to have quite a bit of other Wright related items for sale.

Thanks for that, Chen. It's a great look at the house. We first saw the video last winter:

It prompted a close look at certain features of the work, and some useful discussion. The gate with initials seems not to have been much photographed, so the Arizona Highways piece is of particular interest.
(You can use the "Search" function, upper left, to find previous threads devoted to a particular building or issue.)
