Somewhat of a shame not seeing the Hillside drafting room in use; as if the heart of the estate has been removed. I suppose they'll eventually find a possible (but perhaps questionable) purpose for it... and it may already be available for "events".

Nice; Taliesin wears winter well. Actually, my first visit was as an out of town trespasser during a blizzard 48 years ago. The Dana statue was in the garden court of Taliesin at the beginning, although for quite some time located under cover at an exterior stairwell. Anyone know if it's a replica? ...

Can't recall where published, but as a pre-teen seeing Dow's own house "submerged" into it's pond was an architectural epiphany; and of course, Wright a revelation not long after!

I read it Stephen, a long time ago but recall it quite informative, well researched and with quite a few notes to the text. I suppose there will be criticism true of just about any book on Wright.
