What an excellent body of work! This is obviously a labor of love with you. The research that went into this publication is astonishing. Thank you for doing it.
Wish I had been aware of it last week when I was in Michigan!

Is there any Wright group, other than FLWBC's Wright Chat, that is NOT on facebook?

Re: Seeking Info on Abby Beecher Roberts House, Marquette, MI
I, too, have visited the house. At the time it was run down but still lovely. The best story I have is that the occupants built an enclosure in the bedroom in which they could sleep without heating the entire house in the winter! This, I believe, was the grand daughter and son-in-law of Abbey Beeche...

I stayed there a couple of years ago. It was in fairly good shape though mostly empty.
Quite interesting inside.

Re: Video: Price Tower - Bartlesville, OK
Interesting video but typical of local promotion.
What's interesting is that the small town of Bartlesville allowed other office towers to be built taller that Price Tower thus diminishing its impact.

This is a video lecture by Dianne Harris presented by Dumbarton Oaks in March, 2021.
It is interesting in that it mainly centers on Broadacre City and Wright's use of the term"Darky Village" for the Jesse C. Fischer, Jr. housing project of 1957.

Re: Should there be a new social media closed group for Wright?
As others have observed: facebook is EVIL.
I can only hope that Congress breaks it up.
Likewise, all the other "social platforms."
I am missing much by harboring this attitude but I'm able to experience things still.

Lake Geneva Frank Lloyd Wright look-alike demolished
Thankfully it was only a look-alike. It still is a shame, considering how well it was built and that it was a fairly good replica. The new owner paid $6,000,000 for the privilege! And he didn't even salvage anything! https://www.lakegenevanews.net/news/local/with-video-and-photos-lake-geneva-frank-l...

Re: Joseph Mollica House
I strongly suggest that anyone using this forum invest in the Storrer book or books or at least the Heinz books. They all have a complete list of Wright works as well as descriptions, drawings and photographs. "...what is sense of build a prefabricated house if it won't reduce cost significantly?" T...

I'm so sorry to see these things still being sold out of a house. Even if they are not Wright designs they were at one time integral to the house.

Beautiful house. I'm disappointed that they didn't show the interior. An odd listing.

Re: FLW/Jack Howe: Lake Minnetonka, MN Guest House
It would be helpful to stop referring to the 2nd Little house as "Northome." Northome is the area of the country that the house was located in, not the name of the house. It was, as listed by Storrer, built in 1912 and demolished in 1972. Storrer also lists it as "Northome" and I will have to ask hi...
